Charles has 40 years experience in property development; steel fabrication; design and construction; and asset management, including hospitals, schools, prisons; motorways, hotels, shopping centres; high-rises, grain terminals, aircraft hangars, mining installations and factories.

Charles has worked in Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, HK, China, Indonesia, Chile, UK, Europe, Australia and Canada

Since 2001 Charles has specialised in Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) and Dispute Resolution.

With PPPs, from 2009 until March 2011, Charles was Director Asset Management for Bilfinger Berger Projects, Luxembourg, over-viewing the D&C, operational performance and risk management of more than 60 facilities in 8 countries.

Bulk grain storage is another area in which Charles has extensive experience and Contract Dynamics is currently advising on the design and construction of large volume storages internationally.

With Dispute Resolution, Charles has participated in more than 160 commercial disputes in Asia, UK and Australia, including contractual disputes, insurance, tenant-landlord, workplace harassment and employee entitlements; involving arbitration, mediation, expert determination, adjudication, litigation and expert witnessing. Mediating and negotiating commercial settlements is a particular specialty.
